In order to improve formula’s designing flexibility in matte HAA system based on Matflex Resin AHA90 matte technology, AHA International has developed especially again a novel gloss modifier AHA7002, that is recommended solely used in above matte HAA system to increase the coating gloss to the desired gloss levels. As you know, in most cases, customers prefer to the desired gloss range within 10 to 20% ( 60°) rather than dead matte (0-10% of gloss). The use of this product is the perfect solution that is possible very easily to achieve the desired gloss through changing concentration of AHA7002 in above formulation. The relationship of gloss to the concentration of AHA7002 is very linearly and the adjustable range could be from 7% to 30% ( 60°). It should be notice that It is not recommended to use in other coating systems based on cross linkage chemistries of any glycidyl, glycidyl ester and/or (meth)oxirane groups due to catalytic activity.
