AHA2139 is one kind of wax based matting agent suitable for β-hydroxylalkyl amide (HAA or Primid) based exterior durable powder coatings with ca.35% (min.) of low gloss. The use of this product is capable of providing better flow and gloss reducing effect due to specific synergistic agent

Application
AHA2139 is recommended as matting agent used in Primid powder coatings.
Advantages:
- One shot, suitable for semi-gloss desired
- TGIC-free
- color stable
Disadvantage:
- Under high dosages
- Waxy releaser will appear on surface for black/dark color powder coatings
Use level
1-5% by weight, calculated on total formulation.
