Description
AHA6319 is an amine-blocked sulfonic acid salt-based catalyst absorbed on silica used in exterior durable powder coating with wrinkle finishes. When combined with the special aminoplast crosslinkers, such as AHA 1209 or Powderlink 1174, the resulting powder coatings based on hydroxyl polyester resins will show the attractive wrinkle finishes.

Application
AHA6319 is recommended as a catalyst used in exterior durable aminoplast powder coating based on hydroxyl polyester resins cured by the crosslinker AHA 1209 or Powderlink 1174 to provide attractive wrinkle finishes. Specific wrinkle finishes are highly dependent on the dosage of AHA6319, polyester resin used and pigmentation selection. A pre-trial in line should be conducted to best determine the desired dosage to obtain the desired wrinkle finishes.
