Pre-mixed material for powder coating with snake skin finishes

Description

AHA P-Mix is just one kind of pre-mixed material without pigment for TXP202-XX series powder coatings with snake skin finishes, which is specially designed to help our customers keep texture consistency and better quality control. Therefore if required, the customer only needs to add pigments into above P-Mix, then dry blending, extruding, grinding and classifying, thus the powder coating with different size snake skin finishes will be gained easily.

Operation instruction

1) Adding pre-mixed material and normal dosage of pigments together into in high speed blender and then dry blending uniformly;

2) The resulting mixture is melt extruded in a proper extruder and chipped though ribbon form between a pair of chilled pinch rolls;

3) Grinding above chips into fine powder by grinder, such as ACM classifier mill, sieving pass through 120-140 mesh sieve, the resulting dry, free flowing powder as base powder;

4) Dry blending very little of AHA1043 or 1044* (post-addition additive, the optimum use level 0.2% and 0.4% respectively.) into base powder from step 3 by proper ways, such as manual or V-typical blender under low shear force and low rotary rates. For AHA1043，the pattern shown in right side photo will be achieved whereas AHA1044 to be the pattern shown in left side.
