??GMA based matting hardener for powdercoatings ??

Description

AHA7570, an updated version of original AHA7550, is a glycidylfunctional acrylic (GMA resin) matting hardener suitable for low gloss,exterior durable polyester powder coatings. This product, in conjunction with polyesterwith acid value ranges from 30 to 35mgKOH/g, provides more benefits such asimproved shade and burnish resistance over original AHA7700 and AHA7550.

Application

AHA7570 is recommended as mattinghardener used in low gloss exteriordurable polyester powder coatings with improved black shade and burnishresistance. Additional cure catalyst AHA3163 may also be used in combinationwith AHA7570 to provide better mechanical and solvent resistance. AHA7570 showsfollowing advantages against traditional GMA resins:

• Improved black shade

• Improved burnish resistance

• Gloss stable

• Excellent mechanicalperformance when used in conjunction with TGIC as co-reactant and catalystAHA3163

Incorporation & processingInstructions

AHA7570 should be mixed withresin, hardener, pigments and other raw materials in a high-speed mixer andthen extruded.

Shelf life

Based on our experiencethe shelf life of this product is at least within 1 year from date ofmanufacture. For older than this period, it is recommended to check EEW to determinereuse possible.

Storage

Store in temperature between 2 and 35℃or cool dry place. Keep package closed after using.

Handling & Precaution

Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoidbreathing dust. Wash after handling.
